I've recorded it - I like Des - he was a great host in his day - must be a fair age now though.
He is almost 80 Miss S. I am just watching it on +1, and hearing about how his kids were bullied at school, because people took the piss out of him.

I've just always thought he was a charming, funny man.
He does look good for 80. and his wife is like my age! (late 30s!) He is a nice man.
Think he's been married a few times.......I always thought him and Bob Monkhouse were very similiar

Funny though, how his wife is 37 years younger, and other older men like Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger, have much younger wives too.... and yet if a woman had a man that much younger (or any age gap more than 10 years,) it's frowned upon... Why I wonder?

Look at Babs Windsor and Joan Collins for example - they are with younger men.
Rod Stewart just keeps trading his in all the time though
Did you know that he had an affair with another journalist? Of course that was in the days before our obsession with the heinous crime of adultery!
Oh yes I never thought of them Miss S. maybe in real life it's frowned upon more... I mean with us ordinary folk. Then again, I guess an ordinary man of 65 who was dating a 28 year old would be frowned upon too.
