Having lunch with a friend today and we were discussing our music purchasing habits. My friend has started to buy most things digitally now, only buying physically when it's not available by digital methods.
I on the other hand seem to have a bit of difficulty switching to the digital only world. I still buy Vinyl albums, CD's and any other physical format music comes on.
I have recently started to purchase some music digitally, but that is because I have no choice in the matter - they (the band or artist) only released the music digitally.
Given that I have collectively many thousands of Vinyl LP's, CD's, CD Singles, 12", 10" and 7" singles, I probably should start to make the switch as space is becoming a premium in my place.
So my questions to you forum members:
- How do you buy your music?
- Have you changed to digital only?
- Are you a bit like me stuck in the physical world?
- Are you selling are your physical music and re-purchasing in digital?
- Do you not like music at all?
Looking forward to the debate ...
