BBC journalist Jeremy Paxman commented on the statement on Newsnight last night saying: "If it wasn't so nauseating it would be comical. Now the News of the World private detective accused of hacking into Mill Dowler's telephone has begged the media to respect his family's privacy."

They won't be able to call it the "Sunday Sun" because there's already a local paper with that name.

This is the same reason why the Sunday edition of the Daily Mail had to be called "The Mail on Sunday": there was already a well-established Scottish paper called "The Sunday Mail".

Most likely rebranded title is "The Sun on Sunday", but from what I've heard tonight, I think "The Phoenix" would be more appropriate...

Actor Lesile Ash has been on Channel 4 News and named another reporter who she alledges had her and family phones hacked.

The name said was...Greg Miskiw

Police refused hand over details so after a costly legal battle she obtained a court order for details about her to be handed over.

While she was in hospital it's claimed hers, her husband's and her young childrens phone numbers were obtained while she lay seriously ill in hospital.

Literally millions of e-mails were deleted, and the few surviving ones that were subsequently handed-over to the police only implicated Andy Coulson. Funny, that...

Hacking into the war dead's families and the families of murder victims was the final straw and makes those involved in this total scum.

BUT I feel it was just as wrong to hack into celebs phones and digging up "dirt" on their private lives, that was just as wrong in my opinion, just because they live in the public eye doesn't mean their private lives is everyones business.

The so called "Sex scandals" of celebs are (in my opinion) not in the public interest unless there are crimes involved.

Sadly those who bought The News Of The World have to look at themselves a little as they seem to have liked this kind of journalism in the past.

I say boycott any tabloid paper (as they are all at it) until they change their ways and publish stories that is in the public interest and not the private lives of the rich and famous not to mention committing crimes to get a story.
