He was simply promoting his latest album .......dont see that as clamouring for media attention. He got caught up in something that he really didn't want to .............media attention of a different kind IMO .............Kay Burley wanting to proote herself as a cut throat journalist.

I don't believe as someone suggested that Pete married Katie just to promote his career, if he did he wouldn't have needed to spend six years with her, he could have left or divorced after the first year or two.

Why does he bring it on himself? I am sure that he wanted his marriage to work, it was unfortunate that he couldn't and that he was married to someone like Jordon. Peter seems a decent man, and decent is something alien to Jordan. Good luck to Alex, he is going to need it.

I wasn't meaning just that interview (was he really there just to chat about his album - honestly was he?)
Peter Andre is never off our our screen either letting us into the most intimate moments of his family life for a buck - or allowing a comment to slip from his lips so its gets in the papers.
He always seems to be giving "Hello" exclusives on "Why Katie wasn't right for me"
He just seems to be as much "up for it" as she is to sell his life, comment about her, do a documemtary, chat about this album ...

When he cud just do his music, let it speak for its self, maintain a dignified silence and go home and be a father.

I agree with you Renton............he was told before the interview that there would be questions about his children and KP but he still went ahead with it because he and his management know that he's well ahead of KP in the popularity stakes even tho' it was his decision to end the marriage. Any man who repeatedly refuses to speak to the mother of his children, either by phone or otherwise, and chooses instead to hide behind his management is not a man imo

Imo, he has done just that but when kate snipes at him all the time what is he supposed to do? ... just sit there and not defend himself.
It' would have been better if they both could have kept a dignified silence ... but kate true to form cannot do that ... she's gotta keep throwing cheap shots .... you can't blame the guy for defending himself.

Well the interview had been pre arranged .............it so happened that news of the wedding broke on that very day. I very much doubt that he had been told by the trollop what her plans were ............so yes - I think he was there to promote his album ...............lots of people appear on Sky to promote a book or an album - it's not that unheard of.

Yes but he was promoting his latest album on the back of selling a story to the notw on "the truth " about his divorce and how Jordan was never his type.
Just like he promoted his previous album on the back of headlines on his leaving Jordan and his marriage.
He no more cares about the long term impact on his children than she does.
His career is his number one priority.
They are both a couple of despicable media hungry whores and neither is more "saint " like than the other.

Don't really follow the media circus that they have encouraged in every aspect of their lives, but seem to remember thinking when he met her in the jungle that all he could see was pound note signs in front of his eyes and an opportunity to regain his lost 'celebrity' status. So I'm guessing that's my answer to my question! Don't care for either of them much, but of the two I'd rather have her.

I find Peter Andre and Katie Price horribly cringey for their lack of dignity, even if they sell it for a good financial return. I find the public interest in their embarrassing lives, through the tabloids and the tat magazines, really quite baffling. If I bother to think about it, I'd prefer that they sink into obscurity. But, really, I cannae be that arsed with them other than to poke fun every so often, truth be told.

Totally agree. She must be gobsmacked that Peter doesn't want to even talk to her, let alone see her. As for Peter seeking all of this to promote his albums - utter rubbish imo. I don't think for one minute he wants all this, Peter cares about his children and of course he cares about his career - why shouldn't he. At least he doesn't go out on the lash putting it about, leaving the kids at home while he swans off on publicity seeking holidays.

I find Pete the better of the two...which really isn't saying much, yet.....
If you have children you want to be able to keep them, so a career of some sort is a necessity. Pete needed to resurrect his and it looks like he's managed it...so good luck to him.

She said that they haven't once managed to have a conversation since they split due to the people around him. Whether that is true or not I dont know, but if it is, maybe if they just had a proper talk it would stop the whole circus.
