Awww, thing is, he has every right to be bloody annoyed, they are HIS kids and he loves Harvey as his own...he SHOULD have a say in their welfare.

Her just going off and doing what she wants is shocking, yes, she should be allowed to carry on with her life, but as Peter hardly know ALex, I think she is bang out of order....we know Alex is a good fella, but who, honestly would want their kids living with someone they hardly know and taking on the role as Daddy!!!!

He seems to think it`s ok for him to say publicly that he wants to adopt Harvey, without having the courtesy to talk to Dwight Yorke first. When DY calls him disrespectful for doing that, he flips. The question then put to him was really.. how he would he feel to be put in the same position i.e. with Alex? I have no doubt he loves the children but his reaction was over dramatic and frankly, cringeworthy.

I thought Yorke was named as the father. He is universally acknowledged to be the father and reading an article a while ago by him about the matter (the only time he has spoken publically about it as far as I am aware) he tells a very different story about not being allowed to see Harvey. She says (KP) he's never paid a penny for him, Yorke says different and says he can prove it.

The only thing I do know is that when there are further kids born they can apply to a judge to change the original kid's surname to be the same as the siblings..so Harvey could have been made an Andre (if the other kids are, who knows??) I'm pretty sure he could not ave been adopted without the fathers say so though.

Kate Burley pushed him too far. Everyone knows how Pete feels about his kids, so Ms Burley knew she would hit a nerve and get a reaction. And to insinuate that absent father Dwight York had a right to be upset about Pete adopting Harvey and comparing the situation to how Pete would feel about Alex wanting to adopt his kids, is a completely different situation and it was out of order for her to say it. Pete loves his kids, Dwight York does not show any love for Harvey. I think Pete's reaction and his distress was genuine and any loving father would react in the same way.

I agree.

Not keen on peter either, both a bad as each other. Will do anything for publicity.
If he loves his kids he would stop the circus and stop doing interviews with news papers.
One media attention freak is enough. I would respect peter more if he stopped the circus.

Two different situations. Dwight Yorke has little to no active role in the upbringing of Harvey, even if he does write a cheque every now and then.

As such it wouldn't be strange for someone who did/does play an active role in his upbringing to think about adoption.

Meanwhile, Peter sees his kids regularly despite the separation, and Alex Reid is merely Jordan's new plaything who probably wouldn't have anything to do with the kids if/when Jordan gets bored of him...

Have I got it wrong or is this totally surreal?  From the time I saw her discussing her current dozy twat Alex with Graham Norton, to the embarrassing BB finale, I've been in a state of disbelief. How many people does she have to abuse, misuse or sacrifice before the man on the Clapham Omnibus realises that she matters not a jot. Does deadwood like this really deserve so much publicity?

Blimey, you must get your money's worth with a link that long!

People must be interested somewhere I suppose.   They seem to be newsworthy because, well, they're in the news so often.  It's like a self-fuelling thing.  If someone, say, very quietly kidnapped them and shot them all into space then I imagine the news about them would cut off abruptly.   Well, I suppose it's possible the media would be running stories like: And amazingly this week, there's no news about Katie Price and her dim ex-husband!  Etc.

Spot on
He stayed quiet for a while and gained respect for it. He has a new album to promote, of course. Perfect timing
