Funny how the majority of people seem to be picking pretty much the same people. I have to disagree with Lee Evans though.... I do like him, and I also liked Morcambe and Wise and The Two Ronnies...

The ones I utterly LOATHE are Russell Brand and Ricky Gervais and Chris Moyles Sick Also don't find Jack Whitehall funny, OR Vic Reeves OR James Cordon.. and I don't think Russell Brand is particularly funny, although he is OK sometimes..

Jonathan Ross is the worst IMO, and is the most over-paid, over-rated, unfunny man on the box - and he is vulgar and rude and offensive. Some people seem to think that people are too touchy and easily offended if they don't like him, and find his comments rude and unneccesary.

What right does anyone have to tell anyone that they are uptight, and need to lighten up, and get a life, if they are offended by anyone, or anything??

The small minority of people who think Jonathan Ross is quirky and edgy, and who think you need to 'get a life' if you don't like him, need to open their minds a little, and realise that not EVERYone is going to think he is raucously funny and a brilliant comedy genius. IMO, he is an idiot, he is not funny, and he makes stupid offensive remarks to try and get himself noticed, because that's the only way he CAN get himself noticed because he's crap.

I DON'T like him. IMO, he is just a middle aged man trying to be all cool and trendy by making cutting remarks about people, and passing the remarks off as humour, to get attention... He is not my idea of a comedian or funny man. And it irks me to think this creep gets paid so much, for being so unbelievably unfunny. He gets paid 20 times more than many others of comedians and presenters who are WAY more deserving. It never ceases to amaze me that some people like him. Amazing what passes for 'comedy' for some people. Roll Eyes

Didn't ever get Monty Python though
I found the Office quite funny actually Rexi AND also Extras, but I just cannot stand Ricky Gervais (sorry...) I just find him very arrogant and full of himself.

But I also did not get Monty Python, although I did like the life of Brian.

As I said, the people who have a go at you and say you need to lighten up and get a life, because your opinion differs from theirs and you are offended by things that do not offend them piss me off; let people have their own opinions, and stop attacking folk for not agreeing with you.

You like Ricky Gervais, but I aren't attacking you! I understand that not everyone is gonna have the same opinions and views.

Nod, I agree. Can't believe I used to like Jim Davidson too Disappointed. Manning is just vile and offensive too.
I agree too Darlo. I actually used to chuckle at some Bernard Manning stuff, and he was capable of being funny, as with the others like him... But when I realised that the 'jokes' weren't just ribbing or being a bit cheeky, and they were actually proper racist and full of hate for blacks and gays; I went right off them. The more I saw of Manning and people like him, the more I despised them.

I agree DPT, and that's cool that you like some that others think are not so funny. Thumbs Up We are all entitled to our own views and opinions... What irks me is the attitude from a few, that if you 'don't' like someone, and you find them offensive; you need to lighten up,' or get a life. I find it rather rude that someone feels the need to attack someone whose opinion doesn't coincide with theirs; it seems rather narrow-minded and rude.
