Roger i watched it on the plane back and it was really insightful, although it made me cry i did take it with a very small pinch of salt, as to me it came across very one sided. I know Seaworld declined to comment but the film didn't show any of the good they do (ie rescues etc) Glad i waited until after id been to watch it.
On the way in i noticed a sign saying No banners/posters and No offensive slogans on shirts (or something along those lines) thinking they may have had some trouble in that department.
as much as I love penguins and getting to see them, I am strongly of the opinion, they should not be held in captivity - there is no need in a modern society for centres like this to show us any creatures as camera people (I'm sure there are women as well as men) and documentaries do a rather good job of showing us how the live in their natural environment
didn't stop me going squeeeeeeeee watching that video mind

Its hard Jen, as they can't simply release them, they wouldn't survive. Hopefully keeping and breeding them in captivity, will be phased out.
Forgive me for asking but how did the killer whales look when you saw them? Did they have that flopped over fin? Was there a big crowd or have numbers dropped at all?
