does anyone know why i cannot print a document from an acrobat reader... I am ready to sling PC out of the window

it is a pdf file sent to me via email & i desperatley need to print it I am soo not tech minded
try going to the support site for the make of printer you have, hp have an excellent site.

Open the document, then name & save to say my docs for instance, close document, then go to my docs, open & print as normal.

Yes good point Essex Angel, OP did you save the document? You can't print what you don't own, if you see what I mean.

Did you rename when you saved it, or did you save it as the original name?

What happens? Does acrobat try to print but gives up after a short while? Does the printer print garbage? Does the print function in acrobat say it can't print and doesn't try?
Did you try the route of importing it into your acrobat reader?
Click the acrobat reader icon and go from there.
