Oh that's so sad for his loved ones, blessings to them all.
Yesterday a dear friend of ours passed over from cancer, and today we heard of another who had also passed over from the same condition. Life is painful and so very sad at times for so many families. God Bless to all who have passed.

RIP Patrick.
Makes me sad that in this day and age a cure against this terrible disease cannot be found. My Daughters best friend has it and has been given 6 months to live. In her 30s- single mum with 5 kids.
I read the other day that he was going home to die.
He never let it get the better of him. Lets hope his fight helps others with this terrible affliction
RIP Patrick

That's so very sad Real for everyone involved. For some years I have heard many times of a cure for tumours that has saved many lives but I know there seems to be no awareness of it in the UK.

Instead of funding all the wars abroad and space exploration- money would be better spent on getting things right with the human population first.

The UK is one the world leaders in the fight against cancer. My own home town attracts scientists from across the globe.
I`m sorry about your daughter`s friend Real and your friends Yellow rose.
So sad. I loved him in North and South.

Totally agree. When will mankind realise War achieves little if anything except death for so many civillians, men, women and children who are innocent, on whichever side, whichever country, it's barbaric.
Let hope a cure will be found one day for this devastating disease.
Hopefully this will give cancer sufferers more inspiration to fight it more and more determined and the chance to find more cures/treatments. Thoughts to all sufferers and their families .

Thank you Darlo. We've had a tearful couple of days but mainly our thoughts are with the wives, children and families who are grieving right now.
Thanks all for the replies. Western democracy -- we are still a grain of sand on a beach full of beurocracy. Just wonder what is in store for our grand/great grand kids?? A war cannot fix this one (short term) as in the past. Night all.

That's what I think of as well.....it was the first thing that brought him to prominence.
Oh that is a shame, but I thought it wouldn't be long. Bless him.
RIP Patrick
Incredibly sad. He fought to the end and was so brave, even working although he was in so much pain. I saw an interview with him and his wife not so long ago, they seemed very much in love and they were both very inspiring.
RIP Patrick
