There is that I suppose.

Do you want them in or out, though?Inside and you have them penned - yes they can continue to do damage but you can concentrate on what you have 'caught'. If they are outside they have free rein to plan God only knows what sort of atrocities!

I'd agree it was there to be exploited and taken advantage of.

That's the low level of scum we're dealing with.

I hate that this is making me think that way.    So do we just say 'tough shit, you're on your own'   I really don't know.

Does that tie in also with my previous post? I dunno

About the EU..?  I'd say that closing a border has the potential to be the beginning of the break up/shake up of the EU.

and how much does closing borders help really?   Is Mr Terrorist going to go through passport control and declare his occupation?  Or is he going to cross into a country at some remote spot under cover of darkness?

As I said in my previous posts Fluffs, I was originally for free movement. I don't know so much now, I think I want my borders closed, and I'm ashamed to say that, but if it goes some way to making things right?

It's a dreadful dilemma ......but I do feel we have to take on board the fact that probably not all those wanting to come to Europe  do so with good intentions

No, I think the point was more a case of the bastards taking a piggy back ride on the backs of those poor refugees.  We're dealing with cynical bastards that have no care for human life - why wouldn't they use the refugee situation to their advantage?

It puts 'us' in a terrible situation when trying to deal with and take in the disaffected people.  Who and how can we trust anyone?  How do we check without causing more misery and distress?

I know.. but as i said above - are the ones with bad intentions all going to come via a legit route?     I'm not promoting any particular course of action btw - I just genuinely don't know.

I do know that Jeremy Corbyn needs to start exercsing his trigger finger though and we should be keeping trident... but I probably digress...

That's my point. Like I said....I'm ashamed to say it, and it's horrible to say... but until we can know who's who, I say we close our borders

And there is no way of dealing with these people ....they aren't interested in negotiating ....they simply want to wipe us off the face of the earth

On that Kaffs, I think I'd rather lie down and die rather than searching for a world I can't have and that's never gonna be, once the button's been pressed

I'm with him on trident, it's not a deterrent... it should be banned the world over, once someone presses that button we are gone

that's the point though.  It's worked so far, because everyone who has a button 'says' they'd be prepared to press it, no?

Wanna ask Russian and North Korea to go for that?   I agree it's the ideal scenario though.

Absolutely.   We're on the same page mostly - I'd just like back up until we wise up.

Of course they're not gonna go for that! which is why I'd rather lie down and die rather than trying to put things back together
