So not only is he allowed to travel (although according to this the Athletic meetings sound reluctant to invite him) but he is apparently also now allowed to go to his home again, drink and take drugs!

I found it odd that he wanted the drink and drug ban lifted
I find it odd that a few weeks after shooting his partner dead he wants to do anything let alone compete and travel !!!

LOL, no Parmos or other Italian favourites from the Boro, although they were expecting that from the thoroughly arrogant, a**ehole, big mouthed, meathead who was on there: he did salmon!
It seems Oscar has been a god-fearing Christian since his arrest, according to his aunt.

BLADE Runner Oscar Pistoriusâs tragic lover drew a chilling picture of her own death, it has been revealed.
Model Reeva Steenkamp, gunned down by her Olympian boyfriend on Valentineâs Day, had a creepy premonition she would be violently killed.
She put her innermost fears on canvas, and it shows her going to Heaven after being shot.
The uncanny image appears in an exclusive Channel 5 documentary, due to air tonight.
It shows South African Reevaâs parents Barry and June speaking at length about losing their precious daughter.
June, who grew up in Blackburn, Lancs, said of the vividly coloured painting: âReeva did these pictures when she was 14.
âThey have been in the house a long time now, but we never realised what they were about.
âBut there is a man standing in a field next to a tree and he is holding a gun.
âAnd then on the other side (the two paintings join together) is what could be Reeva wearing angel wings â and there is a ladder going up to heaven.
âWe never really understood the painting but it almost seems like a premonition. If you look at it, sheâs petrified.
âSheâs showing horror. Sheâs terrified. Her hands are over her mouth.â
Barry said: âOnly God knows what was going on and what was going to happen, otherwise these pictures would never have been painted.
âThey were painted for a reason by Reeva, my love. Itâs just actually so scary.â
The devastated pair also revealed the torment their daughter suffered during bust-ups with double amputee Pistorius, 26.
During one incident, the glittering sportsman had terrified the 29-year-old with his reckless driving.
June said: âShe was so afraid. She said: âMummy Iâm in the car with Oscar and heâs driving like a lunatic.â
âSo I said: âWill you just give him the phone.â
âI said to him: âListen, if you hurt my baby in any way I will have you wiped out.'â
Reeva also told her parents that despite only having dated for three months, the couple had regular arguments.
June added: âShe phoned me. I said: âHowâs it going with Oscar?â
âShe said: âWeâve been fighting. Weâve been fighting a lot.â
âThis was a very new relationship. It was very early to be fighting a lot.â
Other scenes in the documentary show Reevaâs family scattering her ashes in the sea so she could be nearer to the dolphins, which she loved.
Reeva was shot dead at Pistoriusâs luxury mansion in a gated complex in Pretoria.
The runner, who lost his legs aged 11 months, claims he thought she was an intruder and fired shots through a bathroom door to protect himself.
Meanwhile detectives claimed Pistorius, who is charged with premeditated murder and due in court tomorrow, could walk free after shocking crime scene photos were leaked.
Graphic images of the blood-soaked bathroom where the runner shot Reeva appeared in the media earlier last week.
Former detective Hilton Botha, dropped from the investigation after it emerged he was facing two counts of
attempted murder, said the photo scandal could Âseriously scupper the prosecution case.
He also claimed two key witnesses had refused to talk because they were too scared.
Botha said: âThey changed their minds. It sounds to me like someone spoke to them and they donât want to get involved.â
Why Did Oscar Pistorius Kill Our Daughter? goes out tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm
Oh thanks for that Erin, very interesting for many reasons. I'll watch the programme
South Africa sounds like an awful place
South Africa sounds like an awful place
I've an online friend who lived in SA for many years. The time came when because of all the crime and murders she decided to move to New Zealand where she feels so much safer for her family.
Anyone watching channel 5, doing a mock trial
I'm just catching up with Reeva's parent's documentary. Will watch that after.
I'm a bit miffed at this program tbh. Am I right in thinking the trial starts tommorow?

No, it's just the legal business. From what I understand the trial proper is likely to start in August. For what it's going to be worth by then. As far as I see it, the police investigation has been so faulty Pestorius will never be convicted.
Ah ty Xochi, I'm a bit behind on pause and just feel so sorry for her parents.
Oh I forgot to watch! I don't suppose the court case is being televised, or covered by Sky like they did with MJ's Doctor. If not we'll have to wait for media reports which isn't the same as seeing and hearing for myself.

It is being televised by Sky, they've been promoting their continuing coverage for over a week now.
However, I heard on the news that there might be a delay in the trial starting due to the fact that the police want more time to gather evidence, but I hope im wrong...i've already got the popcorn and munchies in.
Hope some fecker shoots him in court.
That's what we wanna see.
Did i hear something on the news today where the judge said he'd put the case back to August because he thinks there's a danger of trial by media? Correct me if I'm wrong - but if there's no jury isn't that the judge saying he's going to decide the outcome based on a Daily Mail article?

Yes and
Olympian Oscar Pistorius reassured security guards that everything was 'fine' at his home after he shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, it has been revealed.
The security team at Pistorius' private Pretoria housing estate reportedly telephoned his home after they heard of gunfire coming from the house.
But rather than report Reeva's death - which the disabled athlete claims was an accident - Pistorius allegedly told the guards that everything was 'fine'.
He reportedly never asked for their help and did not report the Valentine's Day shooting to them.
The claims are made in a prosecution information document given to Pistorius' defence team but leaked to South African news television channel eNCA.
More details from the document have been revealed by the South African radio news service EyeWitness News.
The radio news service disclosed how police plan to rely on the athlete's Internet browsing history to prove he intended to kill his model girlfriend.
Pistorius' website activity on the night Reeva died, the document reportedly claims, 'is in direct contrast to that of a loving couple spending time together'.
It comes as South African prosecutors who charged the Olympian with murder have admitted he may not have had his prosthetic legs on when he fired the shots that killed his girlfriend, removing the key argument the shooting was premeditated.
Pistorius, who goes on trial on March 3, denies the charge of murder and claims he mistook his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp for an intruder when he fired a number of bullets through his bathroom door, killing her instantly.
Steenkamp, a South African model, was 29.
But documents obtained by South African television news channel eNCA revealed the stateâs own ballistics expert said the 27-year-old was âmost likelyâ on his stumps when he pulled the trigger repeatedly.
During an extensive bail hearing, prosecutors argued Pistorius took time to put on his prostheses before firing the shots through the locked bathroom door, indicating he was not panicked by the prospect of an intruder.
Prosecutors believe security guards at Pistoriusâ gated community called the athlete after the shooting to check if everything was okay, to which he replied he was fine and did not require assistance, eNCA reported.
Police also claim a neighbour who lives less than 100 metres away heard shouting on Valentineâs Day, the night of Steenkampâs death.
The National Prosecuting Authority said it had not leaked the documents.
âThe defence has access to everything, to the docket and all evidential material we have,â spokesman Nathi Mncube said.
âWe don't give anything to any other person other than the defence and if it gets leak(ed), it won't be us. We can't do that because it's damaging to our case.â

*Puts on Miss Marple hat* It certainly looks like murder. Motive? Hardly a lovers tiff - you'd strike someone in a rage, not shoot them. The room would be disturbed but it was in order. No it was cold blooded. I've deduced he murdered her as she found out he was doing performance enhancing drugs.
