very much so Yogi - we [well at least I did] believe that once the rainbow nation evolved over the last 20 years there was much more harmony - in fact the opposite is the case.  Crime is so rife there and attacks so frequent I guess people of whatever racial make-up are conditioned to preserve themselves any way they know how - if it was me I'd have a panic room built and retreat to there

I do wonder if the SAPS were blick or white because despite this gentleman owing a civil engineering company [I'm assuming he's a civil engineer] and being highly educated, there's an element of the 'blick boy servant' about the questioning which could explain his annoyance with them
