If I was OP I'd be wondering just why is Barry putting people like this on the stand and charging me.  Surely if he's paying shed loads of Rand for a defence, he's entitled to the best no matter what we personally think of him?  I don't think he's getting value for money.  Either Roux is just pocketing easy money because there is very little defencewise he can do for OP, or he's cynically setting up an appeal avenue by virtue of a defective defence????

don't think all of it is holidays for Easter Aimee - I think when the prosecution started this case, they thought it would last 3 weeks maximum so other cases were put on the backburner. It's now been 7 weeks and there are cases pending where unlike OP, the accused are not out on bail so it's felt they need to be dealt with first
