Was he drugs/alcohol tested immediately after the shooting?

I havent paid an awful lot of attention to the trial but I did hear the reading of the texts/emails between them when she said she was afraid of him and he seemed to be very controlling.

Also the way he ignores the cross examiner and only talks to the judge is well strange...a tactic?

My gut feeling is hes guilty

I love the way SAs say awf for off   pictures the tie saying it and I'm in heaven

I understand what he's saying, but I also think there could be other explanations...he's stated he's not a ballistics expert, so I don't know what impact his evidence is going to have...either the ballistic expert is wrong..or Mr Anorak is wrong

I don't think he they have proven premeditated Amythist...but Culpable Homicide definitely  I've not heard anything about him being drugs tested

Hi Amythist

I believe he was tested for drugs because they allegedly found some steroids if I'm not mistaken and believed he may claim 'roid rage' no drugs in his system were found

as for not looking at Nel - I'd say tactic

I think nerves makes him retch...he was sick the other day and there was no wound evidence ..the day the over friendly shrink was rubbing his back after a heavy day in the witness box

do you know I've been ruminating about that shrink - I'm uncomfortable for OPs sake that the boundary between professional and client has been broken - no way should she be touching or stroking him

no he can't - guilt for killing her daughter must be a factor - I don't doubt that he does in his own way feel guilty for killing her

June is stoically staring forward - I have a feeling that when this case is over, irrespective of the result, she will crumble and finally grieve for the loss of her daughter.  I also feel sorry for Reeva's father who can't attend as he's had a stroke since Reeva's death

he only looks at the judge Amythist or his lawyer, I think he's acknowledged Reeva's mum once in court, she was reported in saying he said Good Morning Mrs Steenkamp to her once
