would he get the chance? would they not take him directly to prison..I'm not sure how the appeal thing works in SA.

I meant before the verdict as he is free to go home at the moment, if nearing the end of the trial he asks Roux what his chances where would he make the decision then

I don;t know Aimee...somehow I just don;t think he will...although if he went to prison I wouldn't rule it out to be honest. From what I have read he would not be allowed his prosthetic's

that is supposing they send him to prison and not to a prison hospital cos I'm waiting for a nervous breakdown

no they won't be allowed in because they could be used as a weapon so he'd be confined to a wheelchair (like a wheelchair couldn't be used as a weapon either)

How awful. As if SA prisons weren't grim enough.

I don't know Aimee...it was the same with the OJ trial...and that man did get away with murder, I'm delighted he eventually went to prison

I can't really remember that case, how did he get off

Question jurors, what do you think?

I was pondering in bed last night after having my memory jogged about yesterdays testimony,.

The blood trail.... it was shown yesterday the blood was on the duvet and the carpet, Now Roux did not contest this, I'm assuming because he knows the blood is on the duvet and not on the carpet below. So, therefore the duvet was on the floor all the time and the police did not move it, therefore the fan could not have been where he said it was.. and the jeans were slightly over the corner of the duvet.

If the duvet was off the bed, his story is out the window and I would be inclined believe it was premeditated murder and they rowed she got out of bed and she was trying to dress to leave

he kind of hinted at this yesterday but as Nel's style is to jump from one area to another to unsettle OP I'm wondering if he'll come back to it today

Nomalicious cheese on toast Dame   *sits on couch and realises she's crushed Yogi's hobnobs*

As Roux didn't contest it, I'm guessing the defence have another way of explaining the blood spatter patterns?

I know he was hinting at it Pengy..but he skipped over the jeans part and it took my head all night ro registrar that bit  Op also stated he can;t remember when he opened the curtains or if he opened the curtains and then throwing accusations out about tampering with the crime scene.

I do find the blood trail damning though

Actually, I'm not keen on Hob Nobs, so I'll forgive you.

I know it isn't part of his defence but I did think (assuming Oscar didn't know it was Reeva in the toilet when he shot) that could have pulled the duvet from the bed in panic, as he realised she wasn't in the bed.

Nell's style of questioning, which is meant to unsettle the defendant, is driving me nuts.
