Same from me Rog.  And for the humour too!

I'm deffo on the side of a CH conviction now. Milady has intervened a lot today and I think that will go against Nel's interrogations and there is clearly no evidence that he intended to kill her. However many ways Nel tries to put it!

He's a proven liar  but still there's not the proof for premeditated, as yet

Any idea how much longer Oscar is expected to be on the stand?

I assume Roux can re-examine him after Nel has finished.

think you'd better email Roux and warn him

I would, if I knew his email address.

Just been catching up on the DS thread and someone made a point I've been thinking, do you think Oscar has told his family etc exactly what happened ie the truth? Surely he would have to get off his chest what happened

I don't know how to word this correctly but I don't think he will want to spend years in prison so would end his own life if it looked like he was going down

I read somewhere that his family were hearing the details of Oscar's version for the first time in court. I can't believe they haven't asked him about it, but if he became distraught (as he has in court) maybe they didn't press him for details.

I agree that he won't cope well if he is convicted and given a lengthy sentence.

From the sounds of it, he's in denial himself?

Plenty of people caught doing something wrong, swear blind to their loved ones they're innocent., maybe that's the case here?

I've though about this Aimee...but I would have thought if guilt hasn't made him attempt this before, he's not going to do it in prison IMO If I had killed someone I loved by accident as he is claiming and in that manner, I just don't know what I would do...I don't think I could live with myself

would he get the chance? would they not take him directly to prison..I'm not sure how the appeal thing works in SA.

Lots of people find ways to commit suicide when they are in prison, even when they are being closely monitored.

Yes I heard it was the first time the family had heard but I don't think I agree, anyone else find the sister strange? And the brother sits texting

I haven't noticed the brother texting and the sister just looks worried and upset to me.
