yes my TV and Sky standby buttons show off enough ambient light for me to get up through night and quite happily be able to see enough to go to the loo without switching any lights on

someone is bound to write a book about this trial - question is will it be in the fantasy section or biography

I said that the other day...he can't use the fans for one excuse and then ignore them the next minute.

you missed your calling Dame - you should have been a prosecuting advocate

I'm keeping up with the BBC guy on Twitter.

I see Nel got told off again today by Judgy. He needs to watch his step, after annoying her twice yesterday.

Howzit Yogz   yep Gerrie got a ticking off and I bet he enjoyed it   he has been a tad sarcastic today but it's been very effective

and yet another adjournment for OP to compose himself

I personally don't think he intentionally set out to murder Reeva in a premeditated fashion.  I think he was so hyper paranoid about supposed burglars out to get him that his first instinct was to proceed towards the source of alleged danger and shoot first ask questions later.  I still can't get over why he had those specific bullets in his gun if not to ensure a kill when he fired.

The fact that it was Reeva that was killed, is in my book her being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  It could just have easily been a burglar, Reeva, his dogs, a housekeeper that he shot at because of his paranoia   His intention was to shoot to kill and therefore the State has proved CH but not Premeditated murder

That's my take on it, Pengy.

I think it's because we don't have the Roman-Dutch system in the UK except in that Scottyland up there  that we find it unusual - suppose in SA they'd think we were funny too

interesting point

I don't understand what she is implying.

he gets emotional just as a break is due - she's hinting it's a cue to Barry that he's struggling

But Barry doesn't make the call for recess, so how does that help him?
