yes - that's one alleged 'lie' dispelled.  Fair play to June Steenkamp for telling Nel and getting it on record.  As much as what is happening must be tearing her apart, she's being fair to OP.  She could just have shut her mouth

biggest thieves in SA do appear to be the Police - there is a distinct distrust of them over there - very corrupt organisation

I feel there will be a breakdown very soon - he's been accused of saying his tired to cover his lies

yes to all of that - I don't think he set out to specifically kill Reeva, who ever was in that bathroom, burglar or RS, they were gonners  and that's why I feel the state will only get a CH prosecution 

I agree 100%, I also think the case is proven over the gun charges, and those charges can be between 5/15 years...not that he will get that I doubt 

I keep forgetting about those charges as they seem minor in comparison to RS's murder

Well, I hope he's found guilty of those and not allowed to hold a gun licence ever again, he an arrogant lose cannon 

anyone's guess Aims...this is SA and he holds a lot of clout, he's still highly regarded in some quarters,,,why I have no clue. 

I don't know ho decided to give permission for it to be televised and I doubt OP had any say in the decision as he was the accused. 

I understand that this is the first televised SA case - the judge at the bail hearing I think was the one who deliberated on whether it would be filmed and what conditions the filming would undertake i.e. like witnesses being able to say they didn't want to be filmed so no OP had no choice in it except to say he didn't want to be filmed whilst giving evidence 

as for how long he'll get - sheesh I'm not sure - he could get one sentence for the fire arm offences but not sure if CH would run concurrently or consecutively - not sure of what the SA sentencing system is so will go off and google  

see this is what I don't get...if a statement is in his favour..he goes into great detail with the wording, if its a negative against him he can't remember.

I get what OP is saying about lights from electrical equipment being annoying - the green beam from my sky box in the bedroom ticks me off royally so much so I have a ball of cotton wool stuck across it with micropore
