I don't think they will be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. So he will be found innocent of murder.

And then the family will go for a private prosecution (if the countries law allows that)

I've not read all the above conversations but on tonights news they were saying that if they can get him to admit he knowingly shot into the bathroom then â€Ķ can't remember the rest but it did not look too good for him.

He could and should be found guilty of Culpable Homicide that is up top 15 years, I doubt if he will get that though.

And hello btw!

Hi Roxan

Still a while to go yet, we don't know what the prosecution have up their sleeves as yet...but he's been proven a liar over the other minor gun charges. He pleaded not guilty and it was proven that he did commit at least one of them

Hellooooooo to all :waves:

Hi Rox. I am in the, "not convinced it was premeditated murder, but guilty of culpable homicide" camp.

Hi Yogi

Interesting. On what basis? Do you think they had an argument and he saw red? Or is it on the basis that his actions were out of proportion to the supposed threat?

The state did not convince me that there was a row and that he shot Reeva in a rage. I think he did shoot to kill the person in the toilet, believing it to be an intruder, therefore culpable homicide.

and I'm with Yogi on this, although I do believe he's telling lies and fitting his evidence to fit his alibi, but so far there is not the proof he deliberately set out to kill Reeva.

Hellooooooo to all :waves:

I'm also in the no to premeditated murder but guilty of culpable homicide - don't believe this was an accident or mistake as OP would have us believe

Hope you're keeping well

There are no winners here whatever the verdict.

OP admitted to screaming...the defence have conceded there was screams, so I have no problem in thinking they heard the screams Roxan. I found most of the witnesses credible to be honest, although Yogi had a problem with the first lady...I think the defence witnesses are going to give evidence about hearing crying, man/ woman or both..if the rumor mill is right.

he's certainly painted OP to be a self centred baggage

Curious that in bail statement he never once said I'm sorry - don't think if he's sorry for 'accidentally' shooting her, and subsequently admitting he shot her, there would be any problem.  The fact that he did the deed he has admitted - if I'd 'accidentally' shot someone I'd probably not stop saying I'm sorry

although he can't be found guilty because he's guilty of me, me, me.... it gives you a insight into their relationship  I never believed it was the love of their lives...I'm convinced it wouldn't have lasted five another minutes. So the buying a house for them to live together after 5 weeks is total tosh in my opinion

apparently his new flirtation is over...but he's certainly not put his life on hold over the last 12 months, he's had holidays, he's socialised and dined out..so he's not the celibate monk he made out the other day

apparently the so called gf paramedic was a false story - he only dates blondes not brunettes
