Me too, I'd be punching Nel by now. I think he is heavily medicated, Aimee.

I can't seeing being heavily medicated Yogi, he would have grounds for a mistrial... and he shouldn't keep on about his life on the line, Reeva lost hers

He's calmer than yesterday, despite being cross examined by that yapping jack russell, so I think he is medicated - but I could be wrong.

I'm trying to keep up with this thread (it's my main source of info!) but... on the DM site he says he told the judge he didn't mean to kill Reeva.. or anyone.   What did he think four bullets were going to do when they exploded?  Turn into pixie dust and glitter and leave 'anyone' unscathed?   I doubt it was premeditated, but I don't believe for a minute it was an accident.

Couldn't agree more Kaffs - especially when you factor in that the bullets were the type to expand to ensure a definite kill on impact  as Nel has said, it doesn't matter that Reeva was the target, that gun was loaded to kill and he shot to kill 'a burglar'

I think he's altered facts to suit his testimony, but that doesn't mean to say he knew Reeva was behind the door Kaffs, but to say he didn't intend to shoot or kill anyone is just daft.

I don't think it was "an accident", in as much as I think he meant to shoot the person in the toilet, but I don't think he is guilty of premeditated murder of Reeva.

I think it's a valid question, whilst I agree with the Judge that he's been 'emotional' throughout the trial, when ever he gets asked a difficult question he does start wibbling and crying and it could in all honesty, be perceived as a tactic to elicit sympathy.

No, it was a snide question and as judgie pointed out, Oscar has been emotional throughout, not just now.

no.. in as much as I don't believe he thought 'I'll lure her here, wait till she's in the loo and shoot her'   It's no big stretch (well.. no stretch at all) for me to believe the argued, she got scared, hid in the loo and he shot her in temper/blind rage

exactly... which just reinforces my opinion he's a lying, agressive nutjob who could easily pop a few bullets in her if she pissed him off.

It seems to me that Oscar P was under no immediate threat.

He could have withdrawn, called for security or even left his house.

Firing explosive bullets, was it five times, looks like a massive over reaction to the situation he perceived to be happening.

Those shots were intended to stop someone, not harm and not to scare but to kill.
