yes and they are saying on DS he might not have heard the comment because of the gun shot, but they all laughed so obviously some heard

Blind Freddie and his guide dog have seen this video and surely OP and Roux knew it would surface at some stage?  Guess they hoped as the State hadn't introduced it, they couldn't without realising they'd left the door open for it to be done so - bad move Mr Roux - think OP needs to deduct fees from ya

I think Roux maybe isn't the lawyer he's made out to be...he's upset that OP let slip more than he would have liked yesterday...but he lead him through the night and should have been more direct in the questions he asked to cover all bases. He left OP to his own devices and things had changed and been added

outward appearances would suggest this but I can't help in the back of my mind feel that he's opening the door to appeal on diminished responsibility grounds as OP being medically unfit to testify  - with the ultimate view to having any conviction served in a medical institute rather than prison and ultimately get OP off by default of mental illness

you could be correct Pengy...although I think Nel will also have to tread a fine line with poor Oscar the broken man!

I was a bit taken aback when he used the words mistake... seemed a bit of an understatement

interesting what Llewellyn said then - murder must have intent but culpable homicide only needs 1% admittance of some form of responsibility for the act,  he states that OP gave that during the first three lines of Gerrie Nel's cross  so in effect, the judge must find him guilty of at least culpable homicide

yes, Llewellyn made this point yesterday, I think he thinks the states case really is what it is and OP should should be found guilty of at least the CH...I really don;t see how he can walk free from this. But I didn't think OJ would ever walk free from his trial either

Barry needs time to misconstrue everything so I'm expecting we'll adjourn for early lunch  followed by a tea break  followed by time for OP to compose himself and have his face stroked by his psychiatrist

I know this is a murder trial and during evidence I am being serious but sometimes you need a bit of light relief as the subject matter is quite horrendous at times so I'm not trivalisng what has happened but sometimes you have to have a laugh

I totally agree Pengy... I certainly don't laugh at the crime, but the lawyers and some of the evidence is fair game

as Nel pointed out, if that's what happened to the melon, we get a good idea what happened to poor Reeva
