 Eeeeek! Sounds horrendous Yogi

It was years ago but it was blooming agony, so I have an idea what poor Olly is suffering atm.

Blimey Yogi that sounds awful

I have had a few teeth extracted before and not a one of them hurt at all, and I wasn't worried about the extraction only stressed and anxious about being trapped in the chair for too long cos of my agoraphobia.. never hurt before, not even the one where the guy had his knee on my chest almost as he tugged to pulled the thing out, splintering parts of my jaw in the process.

No idea why this one was so darn painful and am so embarrassed that I actually screamed out and the waiting room was apcked when I came out too..

the abscess is still sat there under my cheek bone so am hoping it drains away before the hole heals. .am bloomin shattered today and look like I've done a few rounds with Tyson

I really feel for you, and hope the abscess clears up quickly. I hope the dentist has given you some antibiotics or anti-inflammatories, as well as painkillers?

No tabs,  had a course of antibiotics 2 weeks prior.. and already have anti inflammatories for joint pain so am using them. . do think I am run down a bit... have had loads of infections this year, not just in the face.. could be all because of this mean tooth flaring up all year so may get a bit healthier now it's gone. .fingers crossed

I wouldn't doubt it or his own pity Olly  he cried buckets when Roux was going on about poor Oscar, it soon turned to scowls at Nel when he was talking about Reeva. he's piss poor at hiding his own self pity

Not sure, it didn't hurt when he wobbled it from side to side to loosen it, and usually after that you get the slurp when they pull it out...  nor did it hurt at first when he was drilling into the metal flap of an adjacent bridge to free the tooth from it. The infection was actually right at the top of the longest root, underneath my cheekbone. so it was when he pulled he started hitting an area where all the pain had been and the flare ups over the past year had happened, but was furthest part of the corner of my mouth.. ie under my cheek

I was impressed when he finally got it out and showed it to me.. .I brought it home, it is not a pretty site
