I'm sure they said 1.55m - I'm 5 foot and that's about 1.52m   if he'd have had his legs proper, he'd have been over 6ft

I'm 5' 3"

I'm 5ft 2inches, so I'm only a teeny bit taller than him when he is on his stumps.

Ooh, he has an honorary doctorate from Strathclyde Uni.

His ex girlfriend (prosecution witness) did state that he was unstable on his stumps and had to hold on to things for balance.

I'm quite sure he's very capable on his stumps Pengy...he carried the big fan in on his stumps..he shot four bullets through a door without falling over, so hes more than capable of keeping his balance as far as I'm concerned

Not far fetched. if there were things to hold on to or lean against for balance.

If the fan wasn't too heavy, he could have used the door, table on the balcony, etc for balance. I would have thought it would have been quite tricky for him though - but possible.

Yogi19

some of what he's saying makes sense i.e. not wanting to be without prosthetic legs and needing to air them.

I'm a supporter of the mouth and foot painting society and there are people there that are double amputees and believe me you'd be shocked at how they can get around on stumps  it's from that knowledge that I'm questioning how good he was at getting around on his stumps without the world watching him

back in 1999 I was working part time as an international operator for Cable and Wireless whilst putting myself through uni.  We regularly had to connect callers from the UK to SA via their operators there for one reason - if the lines were overhead ones rather than cables buried underground, thieves used to steal them for copper and other metals I believe, and if you tried to direct dial from the UK you'd end up being routed through to Zimbabwe who wouldn't accept UK calls as comrade Mugabe banned assisting the British

I think the emotion in his voice, when he speaks of his mum and Reeva, is genuine.

I can see that Yogi...but he does seem concerned about how its affected him and I can understand that, but surely he should be considering her family more than himself, I know I surely would,

no, he didn't want the camera's on him Aimee and if you go to channel 517 you will see it in full screen.

What is channel 517 on Sky? It's a sports channel on Virgin.

see if Virgin has a channel called eNCA Africa - I'm thinking it might be 828 but that may be just my imagination

I agree with that Pengy  but you can only stretch it so much until it snaps...and I think we're at that point now that its coming across more poor me.

On the right lines, it's The Africa Channel - a drama channel, unfortunately.

I don't think Virgin have the eNCA Africa channel.
