Its painful to read. Can't imagine the damage this is doing to poor Reeva's family  The insights in SA by Pengy  put things in context. Also agree that Nel 's approach is wrong - he's sort of point scoring where he should be playing the sympathy card.  

Somehow OP's team have claimed the victim status for themselves.

I knew there was talk of the Steenkamps going after him for money after the trial but didn't realise he was already paying a monthly stipend 

I think it's also sad that due to Barry's training business failing he was collecting wood to sell on the side of the road to make money and June had a B & B bar type property but most of their funding seems to have come from Reeva.

#OscarTrial It seems Vergeer is suggesting that the civil action (Steenkamps were pursuing this before trial) has been dropped

I can never understand how anyone would think that money would, in any way, make up for losing a child.
