I do agree that an expert witness should be cross examined in a thorough way, it's Nel's tone and attitude I don't like.

I didn't mind when he did it with the expert witnesses..but I found his bullying approach to the neighbours awful... I think all experts should be cross examined rigorously to be honest.

I didn't mind when Roux did it to the Burger woman and her hubby, because I thought their testimony was suspect/embroidered/altered to fit the prosecutions version of events.

you pair   to use a SA rugby term - chirping back 10 metres

I have no idea what that means, but I like it.

you know when a referee has penalised a player and they won't shut up and keeps arguing with him, in SA they call that chirping and a punishment is to make the side that the chirping player is from move back 10 metres and if still doesn't shut up he'll do it again all the way to the try line if necessary so you have to be careful about chirping in SA

Is the Diwani trial to be televised?

I do believe irrespective of what happened that night, that he has been irrevocably changed and he would have to be a monster not to be affected by what he did

I agree with you on both points.

I'm sure they said 1.55m - I'm 5 foot and that's about 1.52m   if he'd have had his legs proper, he'd have been over 6ft

yes we always knew he was going to go down this route...Roux lost a lot of points having to withdraw the double tap theory though...even though he made such a big thing about it at the time.
