I think it's a continuity thing Moonie - the whole case could be chucked out if the same people aren't there as they act in the place of a jury

no not her, it's the female that sits to the side of her   they wouldn't have been doing the case next weeks anyhoo so I suppose for the sake of a day it doesn't really matter but I feel like crap today with a cold and I got up especially when I could have stayed in bed so how very dare she go ill 

 I know how you feel. I could have had a lie in today but got up at 7.15am to get ready to watch Oscar give evidence.

if we can get up despite being sick why couldn't she attend   there's always one slacker but then that seems to be par for the course in the land of SA judiciary 

Exactly Pengy, no consideration of the time zones or anyfink  I'm sure she could have watched on TV from her hospital bed  or wheeled her in for that matter...she should be called in front of ATOS, they would have wheeled her in on the operating table

Just popping in to tell you how much I've enjoyed this thread.  

Can't wait to see how Mr Roux goes about his defence next week. It'll be a bloodbath for the witnesses I reckon! 

Mind you, I'm also looking forward to seeing Nel getting stuck in too. 

I have high hopes for Nel, I like his style...I don't like Roux at all, he does distort quite a lot of things and I hope the judge is making notes 

So it's resumed but a pathologist is up first not Oscar due to family medical reasons so I'm assuming the good doctor has a relative who is very ill and could pop off anytime soon so they've allowed him up first
