My take on it all, based on instinct and info form various different places and OP's character is that they had a huge row and she locked herself in the bathroom to get away form OP and he was pissed off with that so started banging on the door with a bat to try to open it and she screamed to tell him to stop and in a fit of fiery rage he went to get a gun to shoot the lock off and shot her as well.. intent may not have been to shoot her but he did considering the ammunition he used and she may have been collateral damage but if he'd missed her and got in I bet it wouldn't have been for a 'friendly' chat.

I could be completely wrong but I reckon it was something like that ..  who am I to say but nothing else makes sense to me

A lot of people agree with you.

with four shots using high velocity bullets he surely meant to kill or wound someone. .

I find it strange they have rejected all the witnesses and saying he contradicted himself so many times and he could walk away

Ditto again...... In bed ...awake enough to hear noise ...reach for gun.....concerned enough to go and see what was what ...but not awake enough to notice ....or care ....that she wasn't in bed ....yeah right ! * dashes out again

have just completed 7 yrs of a legal hassle myself I understand that no matter what the emotions are if the facts fit or don't fit the law it doesn't matter how much you are in the right or wrong the decision is based on whether the valiant points sit with the relevant laws or not.. Sounds like judgey is explaining why she can't bring a verdict for the various options so far as the conditions weren't fully met..

If he gets off I wouldn't blame any one of Riva's family shooting him while locked in a loo somewhere sometime and saying oops didn't mean to do that..

I understand, Dame.

I do feel sad that someone who has so much talent and has achieved so much in spite of his disability, has effectively ruined his own life - but my sympathy lies with Reeva.

I don't Yogi, he still has a life and a reasonably good one by the looks of it

I think her family have behaved impeccably throughout... unlike the Pistorious clan

So true

Also that British journo who followed OP around was probably chosen as a PR exercise and only shown what they wanted him to see not the real person

loads of evidence has been brushed aside...she believed he went on to the patio and screamed, ignoring the duvet, fan the other lights from his TV, stereo and much much more. She's ignored the fact Reeva's phone was not in the toilet and the toilet light was not working, it was lying on the bathroom floor with the back off it and no blood...she's ignored the fact fired the shots and did not check for other intruders, I am totally astounded
