funny that...religious tweets now...not one before the murder. I still say he's guilty, he would have to be a right Jonah to have all those coincidences in one one night and Roux exaggerated a lot of the evidence the little I saw of his summing up. I know that's his job, but I honestly feel its all smoke and mirrors to detract from the facts.

I have a feeling he's going to walk from this, another thing he doesn't have to take responsibility for much like everything else's he's done in the past

thanks for all the updates Pengy

I felt that too Damesy after Roux's annoyingly bravura perfomance.  But hopefully Gerrie's gently gently catchee monkey summing up will trump Roux's. And I also have a sense that Judgey is cannier than them both.

I truly hope so Xochi, in his own words he stopped when he heard the window slam and thought about what to do next. He then run (his words) to the other side of the bed, took the gun out of the holster and went up the passage to confront whoever was in the toilet. He was not in fight or flight mode, he thought about what he was doing!

Another thing...the bedroom door was locked so no intruder was coming in that way, OP was on the balcony so no intruder was coming in that way...Reeva was in the bathroom and then toilet, she would know there was no way intruders were in there. When he was shouting 'get the **** out of my house' why would Reeva not say its me in here and funny he should use the exact same phrase he used to another woman he put out of his house.

I'm still not a 100% that nel proved he meant to murder Reeva, but whoever was in that toilet he meant to kill and in anyone's book that is murder and premeditated. I do think much more went on in that house that night, I don't believe they were in bed from 8 pm, I am convinced she wasn't in bed before the murder took place...he thought about his actions and he took that course and should pay the price.

http://www.citypress.co.za/new...ars-aunt-gerrie-nel/

they'll do anything to rehabilitate his reputation

these comments at the end resonated with me:

Even if there was an intruder he'd have a case to answer, from what I understand. According to the gun tests he did (and his answers that were read out in court), he shouldn't have shot through a closed door etc etc.

Plus, me thinks that 4 shots was a tad excessive.

Plus use of the flesh piercing Talon bullets..its inhumane to kill your girlfriend like this or any human being..its a tad sadistic.

can't argue with that

Me too Pengy, I think there was only one comment I disagreed with. I look at the Steenkamps and think how they have conducted themselves with dignity and then I look at the Pistorius family and feel maybe they should take a leaf out of their book.

Someone pointed out, if the same thing had happened to Aimee would Aunt Lois still be spouting these things to Gerrie Nel ..I think not.

I lost touch about 16 years ago. Is he guilty or not guilty?

Thursday is the judges ruling EC

I'm now torn, it's either The Great British Bake Off or Oscar Pistorius

We might not get the verdict until tomorrow

I've got to go out for a couple of hours this afternoon, so that might be good for me.

I'll miss 20 minutes tomorrow morning, I have a school run to do..I hope it doesn't run on today and then 20 minutes tomorrow
