Nel: If a person feared for life, wouldn't scream be closer to 120 db. Lin: Extreme limit of human voice, close to jet take-off

Nel says his case is that Steenkamp was screaming for her life so it wouldn't have been a normal scream, would have been louder.

Nel asks if the reflection of sound from hard surfaces like in a bathroom would amplify the sound

We have the sound of a gunshot in the bathroom. What would be the db of a 9mm firing? Lin says hard to ascertain.

well if its hard to ascertain why is he there

he's there to give scientific bumph to make believe that his evidence is important to the case

every witness Roux has put forward seems to have been done at the last minute, not properly conducted and easy to ridicule

I can't help feeling tis because OP fecked up his testimony and left very little wiggle room for Barry et al to defend him - these witnesses have either been got last minute or they were the only ones prepared to get on the stand for money

Who the heck in their right mind would want Dr Voster to treat any of their patients after her diagnosis of GAD has been dismissed

I know Pengy...the defence is looking more sleazy or incompetent by the day, rushed in to try and tailor evidence isn't a good look   I think this guy is a good witness, and tried to cover all area's but some some details were left out when he conducted this and if it wasn't exact then it certainly isn't now. As for the screams at 177 metre's we all know that is possible

he's credible in as much as he was as thorough as he could be given the information and the tests carried out to the best of his ability - I'm just not sure that under the test-retest scenario that all empirical scientific tests need, he accurate recreated the conditions for it to be of use in this trial.

also, this evidence is very dry and people will have glossed over it like I have

On twitter they're saying the Wolmarans of Lurve should take him out for a beer and a steak dinner - I suggested that might prove problematic due to Wollie not being able to hear much and Mr Lin being very softly spoken
