I suspect as The Tie is now an acting judge, he will be too busy for this trial 

Looking at this bit about his mum, it seems despite being Afrikaaners, they spoke English more than Afrikaans [although obviously he's fluent in Afrikaans]strange

Judge back in. Gerrie Nel on his feet. He says he has copies of the two reports,one from the psychiatrists, the other from the psychologist

Psychiatrists report found that at the time of the offence, Pistorius did not suffer from a mental disorder or defect

so he's not bonkers - well we knew that 

nowt wrong with him...we could have told them that

So defence and State accept that he did not have a mental defect and to be fair to OP, he never said he did - it was that Dr Vorster   as the court pleases

but wasn't this doctor supposed to be there to back up Dr V ? 

I laughed when she said that 

thank Goth no - they've gone straight to a witness as they accept that OP wasn't incapacitated by virtue of mental defect at the time of the murder   Barry still reserves the right to come back to it after he has read it properly despite having it over the weekend 

This will be fascinating evidence. Dr Versfeld first met 27yo Pistorius when he was an infant, and has been close to the family ever since.

The first defence witness today is Dr Gerald Versfeld, better known to dedicated trial-watchers as "Annemarie's alleged ex-husband"
