 @ you lot

Daughters taken me out for an early evening meal, but will be back later.

I'm sure any updates we have we'll post in here.

I personally think OP should be assessed at Downing Street on cabinet days...a chamber full of black talons loaded in his glock and let him loose in the urinals when they are all on a p*ss break...idiots sorted and one idiot locked up, job done   laters hopefully

Also please stop with can OP act his way out of this.He can't! Its a team of doctors who have assessed 1000's of people. They won't be fooled

Its been done before

Moonie I started a degree [didn't finish for health reasons] in forensic Occupational therapy via Coventry University and had placements at Reaside clinic and Monyhull Hospital - believe me you soon find out who's swinging the lead and who might be genuine - in my non professional opinion David Dadic is right, someone on OPs level will not be able to fool them

don't be daft it wasn't in any way condescending   there are people who do successfully fool experts - I was just saying that OP won't be one of them

it is Moonie - in the midst of this farce a young girl is still dead and her family are waiting for justice - if he had any decency he'd have copped for Culpable Homicide at the beginning - he might have served a couple of years in a secure hospital and been out - he's a selfish self-centred man child

Well, Nel really has thrown a spanner in the defence works!

Must say that I think Judgie had no choice other than to refer OP. I also thought her comments about finding it strange that the defence hadn't called for it earlier maybe indicate that she is beginning to be exasperated by Roux's carelessness about his approach to his job.

Read this interesting comment piece from The Week site about whether OP is anxious or just angry.

GAD or angry? I say angry man.Cheers Xochi

In an extended interview with Pistorius, the New York Times journalist Michael Sokolove was struck by his “uncommon temperament – a fierce, even frenzied need to take on the world at maximum speed with minimum caution. It is an athlete’s disposition, that of a person who believes himself to be royalty of a certain kind – a prince of the physical world.”

This is not the picture of an anxiety ridden man but more of a narcissistic demi-god who will take on the world to achieve his ends – and who might feel he is above the law.

Gods and demi-gods don’t like to be crossed or to lose. A former girlfriend describes Pistorius, after being stopped for speeding by the police, taking the gun by his side and shooting a lamp-post.

Her words are interesting, anyone think she is looking for something on which to pin an acquittal or light sentence?

I would think she's trying to avoid anything that could be used against her judgement in a possible appeal Roxan

In a way I'm a bit ticked he isn't doing the assessment as an inpatient as I know he'd never be able to keep it up for 30 days   however I have trust in the medical profession that as an Outpatient they'll show him for the liar he is
