Still loving the Games. Bit disappointed that GB are out of the medals for 5 a side footy, but looking forward to hopefully seeing the Brazilians play on Saturday.

 

Have also developed a little crush for David Weir 

 Suzy when I saw him get his medal  [without the helmet on] I thought he was pretty cute. I have a thing for blonde men. 

 

And I have been perving at the male swimmers I admit 

I feel bad Rosie, it's like I'm being disloyal to Oscar Pistorius who I've been pashing over for years!

Oscar is fit fit fit [in athletic terms I mean *coff*] 

It was fab He had it by a mile but the place still went mad It was deafening when Charlotte Henshaw and Elizabeth Johnson were swimming... I think the crowd thought if we all screamed loud enough she'd get the gold The Germans in the row in front of us looked a bit bewildered 

Actually, I'm still doing my Project 365 pic of the day, and that was yesterdays

 

That's great Saz, it must feel great to have been a part of it.  

It was Although I wasn't happy with the seats - the seats that go high up the sides are just temporary until after the games, and because the curved ceiling is so low you couldn't see any crowd at the other side of the pool I think it dampened the atmosphere a bit that I was looking at a ceiling that looked like a big whale belly rather than fans waving union jacks

Glad you had a good time Saz I can imagine the atmosphere must be amazing

That's a fab picture Saz! My older boys and their dad went to the swimming the other day (the day Ellie Simmonds won her 2nd gold) and they loved it. My girls were really jealous though because they wanted to go the 'aquarium' (that's what they call it) too

Did they have seats under the whale belly so they could see the people on the opposite side? I'd have loved to see Ellie Simmonds, she's fab

I totally agree Suzy and Sazbomb I've loved every minute of it... so many magical moments and memories . I am going to be quite sad when the flame goes out for the last time tonight

What a difference a year makes. I spent last summer thousands of miles away from London, in South Africa, watching London ablaze and looted on the news!

I couldn't be more proud of the turn around and hope the feeling continues towards a golden legacy.
