Pah! indeed.
Most of my friends have iPhones, and look at my cheap and simple Motorola with pity and disdain.

I gave up on clever phones after I bought a Nokia 'matrix' phone, and was bitterly disappointed that it didn't snap open in that cool way that Neo's did....

(Yes, I am very sad, and No, I didn't have a long leather coat or funky sunglasses...)

Reference:
i have one of the earliest Nokia mobiles and was thinking of getting a new one. not interested in apps/etc but just a good one that wont cost me a fortune. PAYG which i use use at the mo.
I have a very cheap Nokia 1 series which I bought from Carphone Warehouse (other 'phone shops full of disenterested youth who don't laugh when you use the term "crackberry" are available)

The 'phone cost me about ÂĢ9 plus you have to buy some PAYG. Then you can get an ASDA (other nightmarish supermarkets .. etc)  simcard and it's dirt cheap. I use it exclusively for the  European mainland since apparently if I took the iPhone abroad I would need to remortgage.
