Will go back and have a read Baby Bunny and have a go cheers.
slimferm - I've explained the MSIE/ other browser quote issue in my post above but no-one seems to have read it - 'cept MrsH
*gives up*
Ah, I have first post on page 3. Here is my post from page 2......
ATTENTION!!!!!!! QUOTING!!!!!!!!!!
In MS Internet Explorer you can go to the end of the quote and press the ENTER + down arrow key as previously stated.
I CANNOT get that to work on Firefox (I've not tested on other browsers).
The only way I can get OUTSIDE the quote box in FF is to go to HTML view and enter the line break tag - <br />
<br> will also work.
EG in HTML view.....
<div class="small_print">Reference: Someone</div>
<div class="quotedText">Someone's post</div>
<br />
Your reply
Make sure you add the break tag AFTER the existing HTML.
UPDATE: You don't have to type in <br /> - just press the Return key a couple of times and start typing.

Moons I think it's their servers that are causing the trouble.
yes it is a browser issue and simply solved in Bunny's post above - not ideal but maybe they will look into itthe problem is with Google Crome as well

Yes PinkBabe!!!
As MrsH says, they will probably fix it.
I wish they would do their development on a development server or something but maybe they want us to do the testing and fault finding for them!!

I've just switched back to I.E. and couldn't quote at all on that so will stick with Chrome and struggle through I think, bit of a pain in the rear though.

It's not just the quoting though. I'm sure that is just a bug that will be rectified as soon as the sun comes up in Seattle.
IMO, the tweets are the worse offenders - especially as half of them now are links to porn sites.
And do we really need a box to tell us what the latest posts are on the forums? I usually stay in this forum and don't venture into the others. I know what the latest posts are because they appear in bold print.

How do i find the blogs, i've just commented on one that was over there -> and now its gone
Scotty,
When you Post a reply you get a menu bar. At the end of that on the right is a "HTML" button.
Click on it. This shows the HTML source code.
Place the cursor at the end of the existing code. Good idea to press Return now to distinguish your reply from the code.
Type "<br / >" or "<br>" This is the HTML line break tag.
If you like begin typing your reply so you can see your text when you return to the Post Comment editor.
Now click on "Update" - you may have to scroll down.
You are then returned to normal Post Comment view.
Hope this helps!

Aimee, you can go to the bottom of the blog list and on the right there is "more". If you click that, you get a longer list.
