Overnight Upgrade .... Your Thoughts

Not wishing to sound ungrateful to the Admins that provide our space but it seems the forum area has lost out once again- has become an isolated area

We have gained a last post list on the right but we have lost the whole green/black bar from the top which now stops easy navigation back to ticker and explore - the groups and blogs are being seperated even more away from the forum

Do we really need the most active members list - personally I would rather the space be used for a seperate blog list

To get out of here I am using the Live Cloud tab

is there an easier way anyone has found ?

we have a wall comment which links through all the gaga forums

one step forward and two back as far as I can see

Any comments or am I just being picky this morning ?

I agree with everything you have said. I think the upgrade has made it less user friendly instead of more user friendly.

I've been one of the champions of this place since the very beginning. I loved the added features of blogging, adding pictures, clips, etc. Now I am really frustrated and disappointed.

Mrs H..if ya hovver your cursor over the white bar at the top....the ticker etc appears!
My gripe is over on LC...all the words up top are duplicated!..

fern I have just found that but explore is still missing

and if you DONT hover over the top bit your dialog box and ticker doesnt show - still think one step forward and 2 back

Until you hover need changing IMO. Why not just make the links black?

Banner is a bit big......

I like the rest of it though but only just logged on.

Exactly once you have found a group etc and added then it is fine as it shows under ME but you need to go out and find the groups to add - just think it has isolated the forum area again

Moonie, I thought it was me having a fat fingered morning, I tried to quote and quote in another thread but to no avail.

I agree with whoever said we don't need a most active users box, or the latest post box.

I've just been to Search - "https://www.hoo.do/search"

and within the last few minutes they've added more options:

Posts Clips People Channels Groups

It was just Posts Clips

So, looks like they haven't finished yet.

Will wait and see.........

I think losing the Explore was a retro-step too. Also, do we really need the Latest Posts? I think it's superfluous. Would have much rather seen a latest Blog (only) list.

I'm one of those who find the site confusing to navigate anyway. This has just made things worse. And I don't like to moan, as a rule, as I'm grateful for this place.

Are you using MS Internet Explorer? I get that sometimes with MSIE but not with my preferred browser Firefox...

Just tested in IE though and no duplicate menus...
