She tried to go to sleep but no doubt couldn't because of them ignoring her and wanting to make a noise in the BR, they even switched the light on eventually. They could have done their games for the audience outside the bedroom.

It's funny how Sophie can pull down someone's underwear and be considered fun but if someone did that to her they would be considered some kind of sexual pervert/aggressor. Strange that isn't it?

It's funny... because it was funny!

Did Freddie have a problem with it? No, he laughed his ******* ass off!!!

What the **** is your problem with housemates enjoying themselves on potentially their last night in the BB house?

Once again i'm seeing Team Marcus on their ******* high-horse over any single thing Sophie does in the house.

Utterly pathetic, and completely out of context with what that video portrayed! Roll Eyes

100% CORRECT, MY God, just IMAGINE the sheer uproar there would have been not only here but in the media had Marcus done that to Sophie? prank bit of harmless fun or whatever, the 'mob' would be screaming for his blood, and they cant deny it,
I think that Sophie should be made to leave the house immediately, as a CLEAR sign that BB will not allow such sexual misbehaviour in the house even IF its intended as 'fun' cause it wouldnt make the slightest difference had that been Marcus,
you CANT have it both ways, get the pervert OUT,

It's not about what Sophie does or what Marcus does but about what some of the audience reaction is to what they do and the angle that Endemol would take on it as well.

HIGH HORSE?
not at all, fun YOU say? I say again, no matter WHAT the context both you and I know DAMN well if that HAD been Marcus the Marcus despising mob would be rubbing their hands in gleefull OUTRAGE and calling him all sorts of disgusting names,
I DONT CARE what Fred saw it as, that is NOT the point, as Im certain the Marcus is a pervert mob would NOT accept that as an excuse had it been Marcus,
nope sorry, there can be NO excuse for ANY HM removing another HMs clothing in a manner that may be considerd sexual OR may cause embarrassment to the 'victim' saying he/she took it as a joke is NO excuse because in this case she couldn't possibly have known that BEFORE she did it, therefore it is a CLEAR indication that she didn't /doesnt CARE what Freds feelings may have been on the matter, and that her intention was to embarrass and or humiliate Fred, EITHER way she should be thrown out of the house.
OR is it ok to have different rules for each HM? depending on their gender? or perhaps it could be linked to their looks, "young blonde female good looking" ya do/say what you like, "older not so good looking single straight male" be VERY careful about what you say,do, your facial expressions where you look OR it will be PERFECTLY ok to call you a pervert.
you CANT have it BOTH ways, DAMN RIGHT I am angry,.

"Just harmless fun"?
NOPE, go a bit deeper, the act of pulling down Freds shorts, why was this done?..... to get a laugh, why would they laugh? because Fred has been humiliated, would Sophie have done the SAME thing to .... Lisa? Bea? Siavash? Marcus?, come ON be honest, would she? of course not.
So why Fred? because SHE sees Fred as a weaker member of the pack, and therefore it is ok to pick on and humiliate Fred, B word anyone?

and OF COURSE "Fred didnt mind" but thats not the point she didnt CARE what Freds feelings would be one way or the other, and that again is an indication of how she views Fred.

I think you know the answer to your own questions deep down, despite your portrayal of outrage.

There are different rules, revolving around consent of the "victim"

If a typical bloke were to forcefully pull down a typical girl's underwear and she didn't like it then there would be outrage. A typical bloke does not need the consent of a typical girl to perform the act. Even if consent seemed to be given by the girl there would always be suspicion that the consent might not have been genuine because she could not prevent the act.

If a typical girl performed the same act on a typical bloke, then the issue of consent is less because a typical bloke could resist. If Freddie had wanted to he could have resisted, but of course as we can clearly see he loved it. As the male is the sexual predator the default position of society is that sexually-orientated acts by females are usually regarded as harmless. Even if Freddie had reacted badly the assumption would have to be that if he didn't like it he could have prevented it and as it took place in the dark where people can barely see one another the issue of embarrassment is small.

If an unusually large and aggressive female were to perform the act on Freddie, who is quite small and weedy, then the issue of consent could be raised.

So yes the rules are different depending on the sex and physical attributes of the protagonists, and the situation and implied consent of the "victim".

If Freddie had complained to some small degree and only resisted a little and Sophie did it again then there would be reasons for Freddie to complain. Sophie rightly assessed that Freddie would love the sexually-orientated attention.

A typical bloke does not need the consent of a typical girl to peform the act. The way Freddie chased her and tried to spank her suggests a level of playfulness and intimacy that you do not allow for anywhere in your post. For instance, they had also shared a shower along with other housemates last night.

Sophie pulled Freddie’s pants down in their darkened bedroom; not to humiliate, not to bully and not as some perversion – it was an act of fun, and was taken as such.

I am disappointed that the bully card seems to be entering the debate.
