I'm cursed with picking up every wrong note and the last 4 were much worse for doing that than the first, but that doesn't mean that there weren't some good voices too.

Yes I did. He's grown on me over the years because, despite the slightly pompous voice, he seems very down to earth and really focused on what he's trying to achieve.

Sorry if this sounds a bit nutty, Scotty, but we are going to visit someone we don't know. When hubby and one of my sons were on their way home today, they saw an old lady fall over in the street. When they stopped to help, it became apparent she'd badly hurt her shoulder (it's broken). While they were waiting for an ambulance, she told them she has no family up here and her only relative is in England. Her neighbours are on holiday, too, so she won't get any visitors. We are going to call in with some flowers, juice etc just so she isn't totally alone.
