Sorry everyone, I might not make it tonight. We're going to do a hospital visit.

Sorry if this sounds a bit nutty, Scotty, but we are going to visit someone we don't know.
When hubby and one of my sons were on their way home today, they saw an old lady fall over in the street. When they stopped to help, it became apparent she'd badly hurt her shoulder (it's broken). While they were waiting for an ambulance, she told them she has no family up here and her only relative is in England. Her neighbours are on holiday, too, so she won't get any visitors.
We are going to call in with some flowers, juice etc just so she isn't totally alone.

When my hubby told me her story Blizzie, I could have cried. There are so many eldery people out there who have no family nearby, it's sad.
