I've yet to see that. It sounds marvellous.

It was really heartwarming Cologne, and based on a true story

I'll watch it tomorrow.
I watched the pilot and found it ok, and I do like Lacey Turner as an actress but I couldn't help feeling it was at best a glorified recruitment advert for the army and at worst, propaganda for our dubious foreign policy. Given it a miss tonight but might view it on iPlayer.

Yes, I thought "Marvellous" was terrific stuff too. I'm a bit of a Toby Jones fan anyway (I saw him perform live years ago), but I thought he was really good in this. Some lovely touches in the production too, such as when Jones (still in character) discusses events with the real Neil Baldwin. They also do a similar thing with the real Lou Macari, who comes across as a really decent person.

Yes Eugene - loved the way they did that. Toby was excellent - have seen him in a few films and he always stands out.
Not my cup of Darjeeling (is there not another programme on TV covering a similar theme?).
I do like Lacey Turner, but not enough to watch her for 60 minutes covered in army issue clothing.
