Funnily enough there's a house in my town that has been very much talked about this week because a girl moved into the house and has had to have the priest and a medium up to help with strange goings on.  The medium has told her there are spirits in the house which were brought in by ouija boards and the priest has told her not to bring her kids back to the house.  There's even a paranormal activity squad visiting the house as the spirits in question aren't friendly in the slightes.

I wouldn't fook about with one anyway......you just never know!

My mum spent years drilling into me that those spooky things don't exist now all these stories I'm hearing are turning me into a nervous wreak   I was home alone yesterday and decided to go on the treadmill at the bottom of the stairs but I kept thinking someone was coming down the stairs behind me and nearly killed myself a few times swinging round to see   I really shouldn't be told about these things, I've an overactive imagination then lol

Haven't seen one, and will keep an open mind until someone can show me categorical proof, and then I think....we couldn't be the only ones living in the universe/on this planet could we?

Would i be very narrow minded to say .................................yes I think we are? I've never seen anything that has convinced me otherwise TBH.

I haven't seen anything 'in the flesh' Soozy, but maybe there's stuff out there. I dunno  Like I say, I'll keep an open mind until someone can show me

No the music was blaring from the kitchen, I've got really bad balance though and everytime I grabbed the handles to steady myself I also got a shock

When my mum was a youngling she & a friend did one; she swears that a glass on the table rose up & smashed against the wall. She wouldn't lie about that, nor would her friend She warned us to never ever mess with ouija boards, so i never have. She never did one again after! Make what you want of that, I respect your opinions, so please respect mine x

I err on the side of caution ....................until someone can show me - I don't believe it. I haven't seen or witnessed anything outside of a man made horror film that convinces me otherwise. I too am open minded but ........................I aint seen nothing so far that convinces me .................when you die you die IMO. I've lost my dad and my best friend (I'm certain that if there was a way to get through from the 'other side') she'd have done so - we discussed it often enough.

I heard that electro-magnetism can effect the brain and give a feeling that a presence is near...scientists are currently using it to explain God and why we believe

Ah, now there's a thing. I firmly believe that, but if there's anything else, I can't explain it

i believe in spirits - didn't until i lived in a house with a poltergeist!

last night i was talking to the local  church warden who called the police this week because the security lights were on at the church (lead keeps being stolen)  a policeman came and after a while he reappeared from behind the church laughing (friend was worried - she thought the worst)  a group of adults had an ouji (sp) board and were trying to contact the dead!

Sooz, Both my parents were believers and my mum is physic; she used to see spirits as clear as anyone would see a normal person. They used to appear before her when she was alone, but fearing she would attract evil spirits, she asked them to stop coming. They did stop. After my grandad died when I was 7, I heard someone whisper my name when I was alone in my room, when I looked round I saw the outline of a person in a blue haze! I freaked and ran downstairs, my mum told me not to worry it was probs my gramps checking in on me. Then after my dad died when I was 14 I would sense him near and smell things that would come from him; one time I was in s swimming pool when I had the overwhelming smell of cigarettes hit me (he was a heavy smoker)- no one was smoking in the pool.. I always felt watched over, blessed & protected, my whole life, but it was only a year or 2 ago that everything was confirmed for me; I was talking to a friend on the phone one night about her dad, who had recently passed away. She had a text come through from her niece who'd just got back from a reading with a spiritualist medium. This led to a conversation about her friend who's a medium, and following that I felt utterly COMPELLED to go see this lady. I can't explain why because I was at peace with my losses (my beloved g'ma had passed away too by then), and i had no worries or problems, but I felt like I just HAD to go. When I rang to book an appointment, she said she didn't want to know anything about me at all, and I didn't even tell her how I got her number. When I arrived I told her I didn't know why I was there, but I was coming with an open mind and an open heart. The following hour was one of the best experiences of my life! My dad & my nan came through, she described their appearance, how they died, things they've seen me do- things I've done alone and told no one about, described funny little things I have kept in a memory box (again only I alone have ever seen this box). She described where I'd moved to- I'd often wondered if they'd know where to find me cos I moved 300 miles away.. And she said to me "you believe in angels don't you.." I'd written notes to them asking for help when I needed it for years, again alone, and told not a soul! She said they knew, they saw my letters and that they were there for me! The visit was emotional, and magical, I felt warm and loved, and I've since been back twice more. Again I've had fantastic readings then too, I always go without any expectations and let them tell me anything.. I recently had an uncle come through, weeks after he'd passed over, he asked me to go visit his widow (who I'd not seen for 16 years) and give her a message.. Around the same time their daughter, my cousin, found me on Facebook and initiated contact between us again (we lost touch after my dad died 16 years before). Obviously that's a tricky thing to do, but through the daughter I was able to approach the subject.. Turns out they're all open to this stuff and my message brought them great comfort- I was then thanked by the same uncle when he came through straight away during my next reading! It would take me days to write all the details of all the things that I have experienced, but that's the main gist of it. I've always found that if I ask for help or protection, I've always got it, and I've always been grateful for it Sooz, and anyone else reading this, I understand if you don't believe me, and I won't try to convince you or argue with you if you don't, we're all different and that's ok
