I went through a phase of my two friends and I doing them when i was about 12. We used to do it at sleepovers at one friends house.  She lived in a place called Torrance in Glasgow, her house was in the middle of nowhere and it was very very spooky. We would do it in her summer house by candle light and scare ourselves silly.  We used to swear the glass would move, and nothing very spectacular ever happened. I know i never moved it and to be honest knowing the girls i did it with, i still believe they didn't move it.

I dont think its spirits of any description though, if anything it may be energy from people, who knows *shrugs*

suicide or attempted suicide seems rife with users I knew....

I had goes as a kid, with friends, and we convinced ourselves it worked, though I think we were actually just freaking each other out...

We used to do it too, a group of giggly girls, hormones, that's what I reckon.........

My brother brought one home one night and put it in the cupboard on top of the stairs. There was a kinda compass thing (as opposed to a glass) with it. My mam saw it and screamed GET IT OUT

his nibbs used to do them with 'the boys', he said the last time he did it it felt like a (as he described it) black cloud followed him for weeks, but he finally got rid of it when he visited the friends house they used to do the board in. and that his friend lost it ( the plot that is) shortly after. he blames the board, I'd say it was the weed. weed is bad.
