...I currently like 'Essence' by Narciso Rodriguez but Kenzo Flower' is a staple as is 'The One' by D&G and 'Flowerbomb' by Victor & Rolf.

I used to love M&S' 'Ymir' for men but they appear to have discontinued it.

I loved that when hubby wore it - I like Aramist but he (hubby goes in for the kill with it, he doesn't - 'know' - less is more'

It chokes me when he showers and comes to bed after using it! (Is it a tactic on his behalf)?

I love the original 'Prada' too and 'Gucci' by Gucci.

Oh I love this thread...

Im always searching for my holy grail fragrance... At the moment Im especially loving Hypnotic poison and J'adore by Christian Dior....

Baaaaaahhhhh Flower by Kenzo smells like baby powder on me

....

For men I love Acqua di gio(spelling?), I always stop and smell when a guy has it on

Flowers - is a staple imo - a baby powder smell/ I hate wearing perfumes that will over power other people.

Hubby usually buys me it from Boots

It does smell gorgeous and I've never had any complaints

I have a few bottles on the go at the moment. (Ghost, YSL, Hugo Boss).

I like summery/fresh smells,

The new CK one is nice with the blue and yellow bottle, the name is stuck on the tip of my tongue though. I tested it in Debenhams last night. Might go for that one next.

Used to like one called longitude Latitude by nautica but the stopped making it. Now wear Issay Miaki (SP?) homme.

I guess it's skin/oils etc - some perfumes I've bought are the same and I've given them to my daughter - so now I ask for samples before I buy, they're handy for travelling too if you go back for more of what you like!

Oh I always go back to Be delicious (the green one) by DKNY... I get so many compliments when I have it on....

Loved Daisy by Marc Jacobs but cant stand it any more...

Also loved Light blue by D&G, it smells ok to me now...

Elige by Mary Kay is nice as well...

Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue is nice but oldish...

True, I hate it - it gives me a real 'migraine' not a headache a 'migraine', as does 'Clinique's' -Elixir' (sp?) I used to like it many moons ago but I always seem to smell it on women who are around the fridge areas of suermarkets?

I usually wear L'Heure Bleu by Guerlain. It's quite difficult to get hold of but it's a classic. Sometimes I'll wear Shalimar by Guerlain too. I've got a Clarins scent that I can't remember the name of, it's in a blue bottle, that's really fresh smelling and nice if you just want something light. I quite like some of the Penhalligons fragrances too.

My dad's aftershave is lovely too, Douro (aka Lord's) by Penhalligons. I like hubby in Black Pepper fragrance by Molton Brown.
