Perhaps her family wanted it done sooner rather than later. Might have been too much for them after the funeral.

I'm still worried about those guinea pigs.

You have to phone the RSPCA.
I'd be over the fence by now

Me, too!11!
Call the local police and ask if they'll stand by to make it offical.
Guinea pigs need to eat pretty regularly.
s'all a bit odd i rent the house out now and i'm not there much, just seems a bit harsh with all they are coping with that some one like me, shoves their neb in and assumes they haven't thought about her pets.quote:Originally posted by Daniel J*:quote:Originally posted by JacksonB:

Noooo. Can't you ask then when they next come over? I'd break in if I thought they were starving.

Next time you see them pass on your condolences and offer to look after the pets until they find an alternative. If they don't turn up in the next day or so then you HAVE to phone the RSPCA. They may be unaware or simply don't care but if your neighbour cared enough to keep them then I'm sure she'd be horrified to know they weren't being cared for
i'll get the people who rent the house to do some thing about it, they are worried too. trouble is none of us got on with next door, there were harsh words and fallings out and then no speaking, maybe i'll get the neighbours the other side to think about it.
If I knew where it was I'd hike over the fence
