Blimey his girlfriend got A* in one subject and 100% on her exam...she A and B for the other 2.

Well done Master Croc  You must all be so proud of him Croc, hope you're going to celebrate . My nephew got A*A*AB and has got in to Imperial College, London to study Mechanical Engineering. I am so chuffed for him, and it all makes sense now when he used to take things apart (like his first bike) to build it back differently.
Next week it's his younger brother's GCSE results. My brother and sister-in-law have been in bits this month. I'm not looking forward to all this.

Cheers....he was a bit worried cos he knew he'd cocked up one of his maths papers but he did well enough in the other to counteract it.

I've sent him a text, telling him to ring up and find out and let me know, but I haven't heard anything yet.

Not got my hopes up, though, seeing as he did eff all studying!  

Good luck all round! Until, I had spoken to my nephew this morning, I had no idea that there was a new A* grade at A Level. That's bad considering one of my recent jobs was in further education (although I was mainly in post-grad) but still

Haha Sophie has just called to let me know she got a U for herpsychology AS as did all but 3 of her classmates! Luckily there are no exams for health and social care cos she's much better on coursework and is predicted a Distinction T the end of next year

My son got 3 Bs and a C in his AS levels - the C was in the subject he wants to drop anyway so he did absolutely no revision whatsoever.
I think he will do a resit in one of the B subjects tho, cos he needs ABB to get on the uni course he wants.

Well done to those who got their A level results today - I remember this day last year only too well, and the help and support I got from others on here when things didn't go to plan with my oldest son - is that REALLY a year ago?
