My God, these holidays have gone a heck of a lot quicker than they used to when my big gits were little gits!
Hopefully soon, we have major gas main work going on around us at the moment, and the little gits darlings have been running around on top of the static porto van
Thursday this week for some, Monday next week for others.
Ours have only had 5 1/2 weeks this year, The opposite

I didn't realise you has such long school holidays over there, I know in the US (Florida) they break up around Jun going back mid August, But they don't get much time off through out the year, just the odd day here and there.
Some gits go back next Thursday (Yr 7 intakes and 6th formers where I am), some on Friday. My git goes back on Friday for one day and then back to full time on Monday. What is the point in the Friday ffs. Pedants

Exam students breakup later and the schools like to get rid of all the others so there's peace and quiet for those doing exams plus we are rural and most work is done in summer but ours do have less holidays through the year....
I have a lot of Irish family (Northern Ireland) and I think the same applies there too (same in Scotland I think?) They get about 3 months off in the summer but they don't have half term or owt in between. I'd much rather have it the way it is here.
