Ditto what everybody else said too ..liked the idea of it but it fell flat at the end..

I was convinced they would end up with another Trial considering one of the Jury members wasn't even the one called for service... plus I wanted to know for definite if the guy did do it . and there was a lot left unfinished for me. .Like I was convinced the Aspergers kid would have worked out some fab fact from all his notes and research we were shown him doing, especially to do with the Cell towers for the phone, that then went on and confirmed the verdict for definite but that was a false lead we were given as it went nowhere...

Did anybody think Julie Waters played her role the same as she played the Mother of Brenda in a comedy she did ages ago based in a works Canteen. [buggered if I can remember what it was called but it gets repeated on Dave or summat]  .she was an batty old soak in that ..seemed to be the same or similar character to me :laugh

.there was a courtroom drama on BBC before that I think used real people as the Jury and after they gave their verdict we got to see what actually happened... that was really good.. .

Mount Olympus *Olly*
Glad it wasn't just me then In retrospect I think they tried to cram too much into 5 days and spoiled it a little ... Perhaps they should have spread it over two weeks, then they could have given more depth to the characters and storylines . I also agree with Ollie .... I think Julie Walters was miscast ... And yes , she was at times like her character in Dinnerladies
