Cologne, as Rawky says check this out with your doctor. The chances are that the doctor will say that there's nothing to worry about in which case your concern will go away. In the small possibility that it is more serious, then the sooner it is identified the sooner it can be dealt with. If it was serious, it's not going to go away by itself and leaving it could just make things worse.

Don't worry too much but always be sure to get any unexplained lumps checked out by your GP .... then you can put your mind to rest

Hi Cologne.   The chances are very high that this is something very harmless, as I have known people have things like this before and it's usually small cysts.  Go to the doctors yes, but don't worry: I doubt very much that it's anything harmful.

Everyone else, thank you. I'll be at the docs on Tuesday.

Good girl Cologne.    As I said though, I am CONVINCED that it's harmless and I don't think your leg is gonna fall off!!!!!

Well I will say they are probably flea bites from the cat...but if you really wanted answers and not just  'woe is me' attention' you'd be ringing or checking NHS direct not asking people a  forum about lumps that could be bloody anything....

I have a big lump in my leg...oh yeah its my knee!

Cheers sparkles. I'm sure it wont, but initially I had visions of having tests and being out of breath, needing oxygen and all the worst things. I'm using so many inhalers and tablets, I don't need another problem.

Awwww, don't worry Cologne.  Like I said, I have known people have odd lumps before in their legs, and it is always something trivial.  Just usually a wee cyst, and is often left as it is, unles the patient request for it to be removed.  I think you only need to go to NHS direct if youre in pain with it.

Croc, a lot of ppl post their worries on here. May I ask ask why you are so nasty to me especially?

PS. All my cats have been de-fleed and de-wormed. Mum can't have any more and the two kittens are at the vets at the end of September to be dressed. I don't appreciate your insinuatation of my household to be flee ridden.

Well, I know lots of FMs post their worries on the forum. I think the reassurances they get help the OP a little  - even if those responding can't fix the problem. Sometimes writing your worry down and putting it out there helps too. I hope it has for you Cologne, you have enough health issues to deal with. Look after yourself *hugs* x

I agree Trigs   Sometimes its good to share problems on here, and sometimes people 'are' just looking for reassurance and someone to share their problems with, and some are looking for sympathy even, and do want someone to just say 'it's ok, gizza hug!'  I am not a fan of the tough love thing; this 'pull yourself together kind of thing,'  grates on me because people want and need sympathy when they are worried about something...  I like sympathy and empathy and kindness, and TBH, this is usually what people are looking for on here..

But each to their own.  Not everyone is the same of course.

Cologne, don't be afraid of posting your worries on here again.  I only see one person on here who has given you a negative response and everyone else is being nice, so don't let it get you down.    Share your woes on here if you like: most people don't mind.

Cologne, my youngest son had a little lump just below his knee and I made him go to the doctor to get it checked out. It wasn't anything serious but the doc said he was sensible to get it checked out though.

Plenty of people have posted their worries or concerns on this forum, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do the same.
