Couldn't say Cologne, but if you're concerned get yourself down the doctors asap. It really could be anything, such as 'fatty lumps'.
Cologne, as Rawky says check this out with your doctor. The chances are that the doctor will say that there's nothing to worry about in which case your concern will go away. In the small possibility that it is more serious, then the sooner it is identified the sooner it can be dealt with. If it was serious, it's not going to go away by itself and leaving it could just make things worse.
Thank you both. I'll have to take a deep breath.
See the doc Col. Could just be cysts or veins popping up but better to let someone who knows what they're about have a poke.
Hope everything is ok
Get it checked at the docs if you're at all worried cologne , the only way to put your mind at rest!
Maybe your leg is going to fall off!

Don't worry too much but always be sure to get any unexplained lumps checked out by your GP .... then you can put your mind to rest
Hi Cologne. The chances are very high that this is something very harmless, as I have known people have things like this before and it's usually small cysts. Go to the doctors yes, but don't worry: I doubt very much that it's anything harmful.
Croc, is this my opportunity to say that your post is shit.
Everyone else, thank you. I'll be at the docs on Tuesday.

Good girl Cologne. As I said though, I am CONVINCED that it's harmless and I don't think your leg is gonna fall off!!!!!

Well I will say they are probably flea bites from the cat...but if you really wanted answers and not just 'woe is me' attention' you'd be ringing or checking NHS direct not asking people a forum about lumps that could be bloody anything....
I have a big lump in my leg...oh yeah its my knee!
Cheers sparkles. I'm sure it wont, but initially I had visions of having tests and being out of breath, needing oxygen and all the worst things. I'm using so many inhalers and tablets, I don't need another problem.
Awwww, don't worry Cologne. Like I said, I have known people have odd lumps before in their legs, and it is always something trivial. Just usually a wee cyst, and is often left as it is, unles the patient request for it to be removed. I think you only need to go to NHS direct if youre in pain with it.
Cysts no longer get removed on the NHS as a matter of course....special funding has to be requested and may or may not be granted...it is considered a cosmetic procedure.
Croc, a lot of ppl post their worries on here. May I ask ask why you are so nasty to me especially?
PS. All my cats have been de-fleed and de-wormed. Mum can't have any more and the two kittens are at the vets at the end of September to be dressed. I don't appreciate your insinuatation of my household to be flee ridden.
I'm sure you will be mightily relieved after your doc's visit on Tuesday Cologne Try not to worry too much. Take care x
Thanks trigger. Are we still allowed on this forum to voice our problems without being deemed 'attension seekers'?
Croc, you are nasty for no reason what's o ever.

Well, I know lots of FMs post their worries on the forum. I think the reassurances they get help the OP a little - even if those responding can't fix the problem. Sometimes writing your worry down and putting it out there helps too. I hope it has for you Cologne, you have enough health issues to deal with. Look after yourself *hugs* x

I agree Trigs Sometimes its good to share problems on here, and sometimes people 'are' just looking for reassurance and someone to share their problems with, and some are looking for sympathy even, and do want someone to just say 'it's ok, gizza hug!' I am not a fan of the tough love thing; this 'pull yourself together kind of thing,' grates on me because people want and need sympathy when they are worried about something... I like sympathy and empathy and kindness, and TBH, this is usually what people are looking for on here..
But each to their own. Not everyone is the same of course.
You know croc, I really disagree. I may have a feisty argument with ppl, but I'm never cruel or nasty. You've managed to be both over the last few days.
Trigger and Sparkles, thank you. I've obviously started a row I never meant to start.
I agree that you should get it checked out Cologne.... if only to put your mind at rest
Thanks Baz and I will follow Croc's advice and never post my problems on here again because I do not like to be called an attention seeker.

Cologne, don't be afraid of posting your worries on here again. I only see one person on here who has given you a negative response and everyone else is being nice, so don't let it get you down. Share your woes on here if you like: most people don't mind.
Blimey,I thought we all got quite well on here.I don't see any problems with folk asking about "stuff".Perhaps some have shared the same symptoms etc.Shrugs..
Thanks katty and others.
That's OK . Look after yourself and don't feel like you can't share stuff.
Night night everyone... Off now. Gonna watch BB
Hi Cologne, try not to worry yourself, but do get to the GP and have it checked out
Let us know how you get on x
What most people have said here Cologne, just go to the docs and get the lumps checked out.
Hope it's all OK. I am sure it will be.
Cologne, my youngest son had a little lump just below his knee and I made him go to the doctor to get it checked out. It wasn't anything serious but the doc said he was sensible to get it checked out though.
Plenty of people have posted their worries or concerns on this forum, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do the same.
Hope it's nothing serious, Cologne. Good luck at the doctors. xx
Ive got a fatty lump in my leg its buried right in my thigh, feels like its in the muscle. Its like a round hard pea, marrow fat pea size . I got the mick ripped right out of me at the time, running to the docs with my fat
Thanks everyone.
Can we leave it because, honestly, I feel guilty to say thanks and bring the thread up to the top again.
cologne:
Feel free to update us, if you like, as would ANY forum member who had an issue they wanted to share.
well, if you wanna post your worries thats fine by me, when i was worried about my dad it helped immensely.. as i do not have that many people i can talk to..
so... without sounding sloppy, you guys are great.. and i am sure your lumps are gonna be fine as well x
