Would you expect them to look after it for more than a year?

Or would you sell it?

Its not like its worth much. And they've had the cheek to ask if we still had the trailer they had given to us (which was payment for packing the container & cleaning their house) because a friend of theirs wants to lend it

we only agreed to look after it for 4 wks & this was last August. Then in January we said they had until the end of February

Write to them and tell them that you need the space.

Ask them to decide - do they want to make arrangements to have it moved, or do they want to sell it, or do they want it scrapped.

Give them a deadline (again) and tell them if it isn't sorted by then you will have to take action.

Doubt that you could sell it as you are not (presumably) the registered owner.

cops said we could've sold it after 3 mths & given them the money less storage etc. Pretty much anything we wanted to give them.

I feel like a sucker. We did everything for them. I still have a shed full of their shite & they expect me to keep it all because they forgot to pack it

Well, if the police said that, then I'd sell it. Have you got all the documentation?

I would also give them fair warning that you are going to clear out your shed and dispose of their stuff.

did that. We offered them more than what it was worth but they wanted more so thats when we said it had to be moved by end of Feb. Then husband was suppose to be coming back here to sort it at the end of March so we extended it. "Oh no he can't come now".

Oh & they also have left their motorbike over here too.

He had already signed all the docs (v5 tax) & I have already sent an email saying that I needed all of their things cleared out before summer. Had absolutely no reply. Left messages etc, no reply. But 'oh my mate wants to borrow the trailer. Do you still have it so he can have it?'. I mentioned about the stuff they left here & they had to go quickly.
