the iron man is 4km swimming, 180km cycling and finally 42km running.

I feel devastated a lot of the time anyhow, because I'm so pathetic, and now I feel even worse.

you care for your daughter and do the best you can................... you really shouldn't feel pathetic at all ..........the guy in the video is exceptional which is why there is a video. If every one in that position could do something like that they would ..........most can't (be realistic). The only reason that a video/you tube has been done is because it's exceptional.

You have no reason to feel either guilty or pathetic Taking care of and loving a child in that situation is more than most of us can imagine.

What you do for your daughter is far from pathetic,that's inspirational in itself,i'm sure there's people out there that wouldn't have the strength to do what you do day in and day out,you take care Barmy,hope to see you again soon

Barmy, you are definately not pathetic, everyone situation is different and believe me anyone who has to walk in the shoes of life such as this, is an inspiration to many of us.

You are not pathetic anyone with special needs children know that it can be one battle after another. Your daughter gets the same strength from you as the boy does from his dad. The video made me cry because the real testament is a mans love for his son.

what an absolutelty beautiful father/son relationship that is, he must be a dad in a million
