we had a months rainfall in 24 hours yesterday and there was heaps of flooding in the village i live in.... This is the only road (without taking a stupid detour) to my work from where i live so it was shanks pony for me this morning, and i must say my hair looked sooooo pretty by the time i got to work

Hairspray made it worse heat I have a brilliant one that usually holds really well but it decided to hold when my hair looked like i had been dragged through a hedge backwards...pushed back in and pulled out again

Might phone my aunts and unlces in elgin to check they are all ok cause it is prone to flooding up there

and also when the council goes in to clear up if water has touched it it gets ditched regardless. We found that when my granny got flooded. She lost things she had recieved as wedding presents, luckily we managed to save a couple of things, like a tea set she had since she was a child, so it was about 80 years old

thankfully our house is fine and the fire brigade and drains have done blooming good job today so things here are fine now.... not so lucky up north though
